Welcome to the Public Library of Chemnitz!
Dear visitors, first things first:
Basically a visit to our city library is free of charge. Anyway there are certain services that require a library card.
With a library card you are allowed to:
- borrow media
- manage your library account in OPAC
- use the self-checkout and payment machines
- reserve and order media
- use PC workstations and the Internet.
Furthermore participants in courses like "German as foreign language" can make use of educational and course-supplementing materials for their lessons. We offer either exercise books and e-learning and a special guided tour through our library too.
